Steven Wallstedt, CISM, CISSP Director

Steven is a Senior Vice President, Information Security Officer, (Global Consumer - North America Information Technology) with Citigroup.

Over 17 years of progressive experience in financial information systems including information security, IT risk management, continuity of business and management function responsibility.  Experience encompasses many aspect of IT Risk including security policy development, policy interpretation, audit resolution, and security technology integration at the application and infrastructure level and business continuity planning. 

Steven is currently responsible for managing and implementing the corporate information security program across the Citibank North America retail banks front office, operations and technology organization.  Previous positions in Citigroup include Group Information Security Officer for the Global Consumer Group – Sector Businesses and the Business Information Security Officer for Corporate and Consumer Treasury.  Prior to joining Citigroup in 2000, Steven was the Information Security Officer for the Dime Savings Bank of New York and before that was a consultant at Cap Gemini performing IT audit and IT risk management solutions for large financial services organizations.  Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in Management of Information Systems from New York Institute of Technology.  He is a CISSP, a CISM and a member of the New York Chapter of ISSA.
