Brendan Healy, EMTB, CISSP
President |
Brendan is a cross-functional security and data privacy professional with broad exposure in the security arena. Currently Brendan is a Vice President in Corporate Technology Risk Management with Morgan Stanley.
Previously he was a Senior Security Risk Management Analyst with TD Ameritrade, where he was responsible for a due diligence program focused on Information Security and Risk Management. Prior to that, he was a Technology Risk Consultant with Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm. He also served as a Project Manager / Consultant at a boutique technology firm that specialized in security and technology implementations for businesses across Long Island. Practical security experience was gained with the US Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security where he participated alongside Special Agents performing surveillance functions, security escorts, fraud investigations and acting as a law enforcement liaison. Brendan served in the Nassau County Fire Service with the Garden City Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter and attained the rank of Assistant Chief with the Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He is currently a New York State Emergency Medical Technician.
He is remains active in the security community through participation with various organizations such as the Long Island Infragard Members Alliance, US Department of State’s Overseas Advisory Council, New York Intelligence Analyst’s Roundtable, and ASIS. Brendan also volunteers with the New York Road Runners Medical Team during various races including the New York City Marathon.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University. Brendan is pursuing his Master of Science in Protection Management from The City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Brendan is an Eagle Scout.
