Brendan Healy, CRISC, CISSP President, Executive Director

Brendan is a cross-functional security and risk management professional. He is a Vice President at a Global Financial Firm and works within Operational Risk Management.

Previously, he was a Senior Security Risk Management Analyst with TD Ameritrade, where he was responsible for a converged due diligence program focused on both Information and Physical Security, as well as Risk Management. Prior to that, he was a Technology Risk Consultant with Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm. He also served as a Project Manager / Consultant at a boutique technology firm that specialized in security and technology implementations for businesses across Long Island. Additional practical security experience was gained with the US Department of State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

Brendan served in the Nassau County Fire Service with the Garden City Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter and attained the rank of Assistant Chief with the Mineola Volunteer Ambulance Corps.  He was a New York State Emergency Medical Technician for nine years.

He is remains active in the security community through participation with various organizations such as the US Department of State’s Overseas Advisory Council, New York Intelligence Analyst’s Roundtable, and ASIS. Brendan also volunteers with the New York Road Runners Medical Team during various races including the New York City Marathon.

Brendan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from Hofstra University, and a Graduate Certificate from New York University in Enterprise Risk Management. Brendan is pursuing his Master of Science in Protection Management from The City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified in Risk and Information System Control (CRISC).

Brendan is an Eagle Scout.
